BATCH is a premium wellness brand selling high-quality CBD products including gummies, oils, and topicals. The category is one of the most competitive in SEO — regulatorily constrained, heavily scrutinized by Google, and crowded with well-funded competitors.

Through 2023 and into 2024, QCK helped grow BATCH from 4,803 to 29,849 monthly organic visits — a strong trajectory. Then Google's algorithm updates in late 2024 hit the CBD/wellness category hard, crashing BATCH from 29k to just 1,004 visits/month by January 2025.

Created new authoritative content in gaps left by competitors who were also hit.

Technical & Architecture Rebuild

Used the recovery period to fix structural issues that predated the algorithm hit. Improved site architecture to better signal topical authority in the wellness/CBD category, resolved crawling inefficiencies, and strengthened internal linking to concentrate ranking signals on the most commercially valuable pages.

New Keyword Expansion

While recovering existing rankings, simultaneously expanded into new keyword clusters that competitors abandoned post-update.
